Regional schools supt. has office raided July 02, 2009.   The offices of Democratic Cook County suburban school superintendent Charles Flowers were raided under suspicion Flowers used county money to pay for personal vacations, rental cars and restaurant bills.

 

Suburban Cook education chief arrested on corruption charges January 14, 2010.  Democratic Cook County School Superintendent Charles Flowers was arrested on felony corruption charges including theft and official misconduct.
